A heckler accused Harry and Meghan of "destroying the Royal Family" as they arrived at the New York Midtown Hilton for The Ripple of Hope awards in advance of their new Netflix show.
Prince Harry and Meghan were confronted by a heckler who shouted: "What do you suppose about destroying the Royal Family?" as they arrived at a New York awards show last night.
Huge crowds had waited in the rain outside the city's Midtown Hilton motel to seize a glimpse of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in advance of The Ripple of Hope gala.
As the couple were escorted beyond assembled press who tried to catch their attention ahead of their Netflix docuseries, Harry may want to be heard saying "so many questions".
But a clip shared to Twitter with the aid of ITV journalist Fred Dimbleby captured a heckler shouting in the direction of them in far less uncertain terms.



Others in the crowd - set returned from the motel and red carpet - can be considered making an attempt to film the couple on their phones, with some whooping in support, in the footage.
As Harry steps out of a car, a woman can be heard saying: "That's him! That's him!"
A man says: "Harry, over here!"
Then the heckler jumps in as Harry waits for Meghan to get out of the vehicle with an umbrella.
The couple don't reply to the man, who seems to have an English accent, in the clip and it is uncertain if they could hear him.
The man can also be heard saying: "Meghan, you've destroyed the Royal Family!"
The Sussexes were making their first public appearance for the reason that the trailer for their docuseries dropped last Thursday.
They had been snapped the previous day stepping out of a non-public jet in NYC before quickly making their way to a car.



They looked relaxed, with Meghan grinning in a pair of massive sunglasses, whilst Harry wore a white shirt with the collar unbuttoned.
The Ripple of Hope awards honour individuals for their charitable efforts, and used to be hosted by Kerry Kennedy - niece of John F. Kennedy.
The royal pair acquired an award for their campaigning against "structural racism" and intellectual fitness issues.
During the ceremony they had been seated alongside Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin.
Later, Meghan and Harry gave an interview on the stage where they spoke about their lifestyles on account that transferring to the US and their personal experiences with intellectual health.
The Duchess spoke overtly about having suicidal thoughts while 'trapped' in the Firm.
