After a variety of neglected royal engagements, Queen Elizabeth II is out again—this time in Scotland.
The monarch, 96, traveled overnight via Royal Train to Edinburgh, where she will be for the subsequent few days carrying out engagements with different participants of the royal family. She will stay at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, her reputable house in the Scottish capital.

                        

This morning, the queen attended the Ceremony of the Keys, where she was once passed the keys of the city of Edinburgh and welcomed into Scotland. She used to be joined via son Prince Edward and his stylish wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex.



On the outing, the queen wore a pale blue tweed coat over a floral white, blue, and purple dress, and accessorized with a matching faded blue hat with a shiny blue flower appliqué, and her basic layered pearl necklace and pearl earrings.
The queen—who walked with her cane due to her ongoing mobility issues—was satisfied in low black heels, and she carried a black bag. She was pictured smiling whilst conserving a bouquet of sparkling flowers.
The event marked the queen's first public look on the grounds that her Platinum Jubilee celebrations beforehand this month. The monarch was quite absent from the five-day Royal Ascot, the glamorous British horse racing match she has been recognized to cherish.
Among her more than a few engagements this week, the queen will attend a backyard celebration with royal household members, honor more than a few Scottish figures at a ceremony, and probably maintain an target audience with Nicola Sturgeon, the first minister of Scotland.
