A former soldier claimed that Prince Harry once set off alarm at St James’s Palace after spending a night out drinking.

During his conversation with The Sun, a former member of the Guards Division said that the prince used to be “blind drunk” when he discovered him.
“It was round midnight. An alarm went off in the protect room, but we’d never heard it before,” he recalled. “One of the senior lads stated it was once one of the sentry boxes.
“Within a couple of minutes three of us who had been in the QRF had been out the door. There had been two Met Police guys there as well.

“He used to be a mess, he was on the flooring drooling on himself. When we tried to get him up he used to be uncooperative and abusive,” the soldier said.
