A clip of Meghan Markle’s curtsy in Suits has resurfaced after the Duchess claimed she “didn’t know” what she used to be doing when she first met Queen Elizabeth II.
Meghan Markle had at least some thought of how to curtsy in front of Queen Elizabeth II.
After the former actress claimed in her Netflix documentary that she “didn’t comprehend what [she] was doing” when she first met the late monarch returned in 2016, a resurfaced clip from Suits displaying her curtsying has long past viral.
During a 2010 episode of the drama series, Markle, who performed paralegal Rachel Zane, did a small, understated curtsy in front of Rick Hoffman, who played legal professional Louis Litt, Page Six reports.
An Instagram person — whose web page is filled with information about the royal household — recently posted the footage, claiming that Markle’s “perfect” execution of the movement “only proves she knew well how to curtsey [sic] lengthy before she met Harry” and that “her whole BS on Netflix about curtsying to the [Queen of England] was once simply a mockery”.'



In Episode 2 of Harry & Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex recounted Markle’s first encounter with Her Majesty.
“My grandmother used to be the first senior member of the family that Meghan met,” Harry, 38, defined in the docuseries, which dropped on Netflix in the past this month.
“She had no thought what it all consisted of, so it was a bit of a shock to the machine for her.”
“It was surreal,” Markle, 41, added.



“There wasn’t some huge moment of like, ‘And now you’re gonna meet my grandmother.’ I didn’t comprehend I was gonna meet her till moments before.”
“We have been in the car, and we were going to the Royal Lodge for lunch, and [Harry] was once like, ‘Oh, my grandmother’s here. She’s gonna be there after church,’” Markle went on.
“And I remember we had been in the car and using up, and he said, ‘You understand how to curtsy, right?’ And I simply thought it used to be a joke.”



Harry chimed in, “How do you provide an explanation for that to people? How do you explain that you bow to your grandmother and that you will need to curtsy? Especially to an American. Like, that’s weird.”
Markle said she rapidly realised “this is a huge deal” and that it made her sense like she was dwelling in “Medieval times.”
“I curtsied as although I was once like,” she defined as she went into a very exaggerated and drawn-out bow that many social media customers felt used to be disrespectful.



Giggling, reputedly at herself, she got here back up and recalled saying, “Pleasure to meet you, Your Majesty.”
Markle described the come across as “so intense” and stated she right away regarded round for reassurance that her behaviour was once at least adequate.
