Meghan Markle’s controversial “Archetypes” podcast is scaling the top of the charts — but is she simply talking to visitors she has on air?
One of Markle’s former podcast visitors has sparked hypothesis that she in no way simply spoke to the duchess for the interview.
Allison Yarrow — writer of “90s Bitch: Media, Culture and the Failed Promise of Gender Equality” — appeared on the podcast in an episode titled “To ‘B’ or now not to ‘B’ ” in which the royal discussed how calling a girl “difficult” is “a code phrase for the B-word.”
“Etymologists agree with that the phrase ‘bitch’ came out of this Greek insult that supposed women were dogs in warmth — begging for men — that was once the idea,” Yarrow defined on the episode. “And there was a more current definition that was written down in the Nineties and it was once ‘bitch’ was an Appalachian — that used to be the worst identify you may want to name an English woman, even worse than a whore.”

Yarrow’s explanations and feedback are interestingly edited and interwoven between feedback from the Duchess of Sussex in the podcast audio, the Daily Mail reported.
Meanwhile, in a resurfaced Instagram publish from August, Yarrow shared a photo of herself post-“Archetypes” interview in front of a signal for audio production residence Gimlet Media — and thanked a producer for being “an tremendous interviewer.”
“Excited to be blanketed in the visionary sequence #Archetypes hosted through Meghan the Duchess of Sussex the aims to dissect and subvert the archetypes that preserve female back,” Yarrow wrote in the caption.
“Cheers to producer @farrahsafari (an terrific interviewer) and the folks at @Gimlet @Spotify who get it done,” she added.
With the seemingly shady caption by means of Yarrow, some social media watchdogs are now speculating that Markle doesn’t do the work with the visitors on the podcast — however in different episodes she is obviously featured having full, entire conversations with guests, such as Jameela Jamil, Serena Williams, Paris Hilton and Mindy Kaling.

The Post has reached out to Yarrow, Gimlet Media and Markle’s reps for comment.
Although the episodes encompass the 41-year-old royal in deep conversation with A-list celebrities and friends, they additionally have clips of experts, lecturers and authors speakme about unique topics, consisting of Yarrow, Dr. Laura Kay and sociologist Nancy Wang Yuen.
The audio clips of the professionals have been cut and interwoven between audio of Markle, so it’s no longer clear whether or not or no longer she spoke to any or all of the experts herself.
