Social media users are calling Meghan Markle a “hypocrite” for taking a raunchy role on “90210” after leaving “Deal or No Deal” for being “reduced to a bimbo.”
Earlier this week, the Duchess of Sussex claimed she left her position as a briefcase girl after developing tired of being “objectified” with the focal point “solely about splendor and now not necessarily about brains.”
However, newly resurfaced video shows Markle made her debut lower back into the performing world a few years later — only to play a similar role.
During a short cameo on the rebooted CW series, the 41-year-old performed a persona named Wendy, who was once reputedly caught giving persona Ethan Ward oral intercourse in a car.



In the brief clip, Ward — played by using Dustin Milligan — looked started up when his lady friend spotted him sitting in his car, adjusting his pants as Wendy’s head popped up from his lap.
Some Twitter customers were quick to call out the “Suits” alum for taking the NSFW function after slamming her year-long stint on “Deal or No Deal.”
“YEARS after you left deal or no deal for ‘being treated like a bimbo’, you took on roles giving guys BJ’s in vehicles in 90210, taking your pinnacle off to grill burgers in Mens Health, had a ton of intercourse scenes in ‘Suits’. You’ve objectified YOURSELF,” one individual tweeted, adding “You’re now not a sufferer girl.”
“She’s a mendacity hypocrite!,” some other man or woman chimed in.



“Sorry, #MeghanMarkle, you chose that gig plus – hot girl, FedEx girl, 90210, other diverse roles, the burger ad, etc. No one compelled you. No one reduced you. You willingly took those jobs,” a 1/3 added.
However, some fellow actors got here to Markle’s rescue, claiming actors have to take anything roles they can get to stay afloat.
“…As an actress you have to take jobs you don’t mainly like or empathise with to pay the bills? I can’t say I used to be thrilled to play ‘Peasant 4’ or ‘Cheating Wife’ either,” they pointed out.
While fans had a combined reaction on social media, Hollywood was also divided on the issue.
Whoopi Goldberg spoke out about the former actress’s remarks on Wednesday’s episode of “The View,” pointing out that taking part in roles seemingly under you is all part of exhibit business.



“When you’re a performer, you take the gig,” the 66-year-old said. “You take the gig. Sometimes, you’re in a Bozo suit, every now and then you acquired a large nose, and this is simply the way it is.”
The discuss show host continued, “My factor is if you see it, and that’s how you feel, just maybe you don’t want to make the different female sense horrific due to the fact perhaps they’re making an attempt to make a living, too.”



Another one of the former briefcase models, Claudia Jordan, has additionally spoken out about her time working on the show, announcing “Deal or No Deal NEVER handled us like bimbos.”



“For clarity — yes getting a MODELING GIG on a sport show isn’t always about your intellect…” she wrote on her Instagram Story, adding that the “opportunity IS what you make it.”
