Meghan Markle talks about the negative media interest amid dating Prince Harry.
Meghan Markle admits she used to be made to feel 'terrible' by the media amid her romance with Prince Harry.
Speaking to tennis famous person Serena Williams on the debut episode of her podcast Archetypes, the Duchess of Sussex printed she was often portrayed as a cunning lady owing to her 'ambitious' nature.
“I don’t have in mind ever in my view feeling the negative connotation at the back of the phrase ‘ambitious’ till I began courting my now-husband,” Markle told listeners.
“Apparently ambition is a terrible, horrible thing, for a woman. That is, according to some,” she continued. “Since I’ve felt the negativity behind it, it’s [been] honestly hard to un-feel it.”
Meghan added that she “can’t unsee it, either, in the hundreds of thousands of girls and female who make themselves smaller – so a good deal smaller – on a normal basis.”
Ever on account that her romance to Harry grew to be public in 2017, Meghan caught the interest of the media. Various publications and tabloids reportedly camped outside her residence to seize and remark upon her every move.
