The British Government reportedly refuses to “cave in” on Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s protection row for kids Archie and Lilibet.
Former royal police protection officer, Ken Wharfe, made this shocking claim.
He addressed the ‘unwise’ decision of the Duke of Sussex and pointed out the alleged naivety of his claims, for he’d “never be refused protection.”
The expert addressed it all during his interview with the Pod Save the Queen podcast.
There, he started through admitting, “I don't know whom he counseled him to take prison action towards the British Government and the Metropolitan Police. I think it used to be an unwise issue to do because that, in essence, raises terrible publicity.”
When asked about the problem of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s personal security group being barred from accessing Intelligence Intel and carrying private firearms, Mr Wharfe added, “But I think the Government and the Metropolitan Police would have considered it would have been wrong to see this man, a global icon and celebrity in his very own right, step onshore in the United Kingdom barring any protection whatsoever.”

“So that used to be by no means the case that the Government and the police wouldn't have furnished a liaison to assurance his safety and that of his wife and children.”
He additionally supplied some personal perception and admitted, “My own view is that Harry as a substitute overplayed that and that used to be a mistake on his part.”
“I personally assume it might not rumble on and it will stabilise - and I assume he will recognise if he does come again that of path there will be protection there.”
“The u . s . a . does have a responsibility to make sure that he is safe. But I do not see the government or the police for that depend caving in on it.”
At the end of the day, “I suppose Harry will have to work a little bit tougher and understand that the government and the police are right here to help him and they will do so.”
